In addition to the existing hospitals, ESIC is proposing to construct about 10 hospitals in the State, for extending better services to the employees.

“One 400-bedded hospital will be established in Visakhapatnam, 100-bedded hospitals are planned at Atchutapuram in Anakapalli district, Guntur, Nellore and Sri City in Tirupati district,” the Insurance Commissioner explained.

Besides, 30-bedded hospitals will be constructed at Eluru, Bhimavaram, Chittoor and Hindupur. The corporation will launch the new hospitals soon, Mr. Renuka Prasad said.
