A 26-year-old electrician allegedly ended his life by jumping from the 24th floor of a residential apartment in Chikkabidarakallu at Madanayakanahalli in Bengaluru in the early hours of September 15.

The deceased has been identified as Lokesh Pawan Krishna, a native of Andhra Pradesh who was working in a city-based mall. The deceased had gone to his sister’s apartment and allegedly jumped to his death. He left behind a note stating that he is taking the extreme step due to health issues.

The security guard, who found the body in a pool of blood, alerted the police.

On checking CCTV camera footage, the police noticed that he had climbed up the building and jumped. The police are questioning the family members to ascertain the cause of him taking the extreme step.

A case of un-natural death has been registered for further investigation.
