The long-pending Ejipura flyover project, which has remained stalled for several years, is finally showing signs of progress, with the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) setting a tentative deadline to complete the work by June.

GBA Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao said on Tuesday that the authority was actively working to resolve pending issues and push the project towards completion.

(Optional for print) According to Mr. Rao, discussions are currently underway with all stakeholders, including on technical aspects and land acquisition, which have contributed to delays in the past. (Till here)

He said the construction plan includes completing 762 segments, out of which 645 segments have already been casted. The remaining 170 segments are yet to be cast, while 490 segments have already been erected. “If this pace is maintained, the remaining civil works could be completed within the next two to three months and costing will be finished too,” he said, adding that while the GBA is aiming to finish the project by June, the deadline could extend to July at the latest, depending on ground-level progress.
