Bengaluru City East Corporation has posted engineers for Lakes and Storm Water Drains, earlier under the charge of the respective ward engineers after Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) was split into five corporations.
In an order issued on April 27, the East Corporation has created lakes and SWD divisions, with an executive engineer and two assistant executive engineers for both divisions. The corporation has posted Bhuprada as executive engineer for both lakes and SWDs, with Basavaraj N. and Suma as assistant executive engineers for both lakes and SWDs. These three officers also hold other positions, and these are concurrent charges.
