Drunk passenger creates ruckus onboard Bengaluru-Delhi flight

An allegedly drunk passenger who caused inconvenience to passengers and crew onboard an Akasa Air flight on October 20 was restrained and removed from the aircraft by the crew.

The incident occurred on Akasa Air flight QP 1599. The airline confirmed the incident.

“An incident of unruly behaviour involving a passenger took place on Akasa Air flight QP 1599 operating from Bengaluru to Delhi on October 20, 2025. Our crew followed the required safety protocols in line with our policies to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers. We stand firm on our zero-tolerance policies against unruly passenger behavior,” Akasa Air said.
