Former Union Minister M.K. Alagiri’s son Dhayanidhi Alagiri has approached the Madras High Court challenging the provisional attachment of 10 of his properties by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in connection with a money laundering case registered in 2013.

Second Division Bench of Justices R. Suresh Kumar and N. Senthilkumar on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) permitted ED Special Public Prosecutor P. Sidharthan to take notice on behalf of the Central agency and file its reply to the civil miscellaneous appeal within four weeks.
