Data parks of combined 1,000 MW capacity to be set up in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru

Minister for Energy K.J. George.

The Karnataka government on Thursday decided to set up data parks in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mangaluru.

A preliminary meeting regarding this was held by Energy Minister K.J. George, Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil, and IT and BT Minister Priyank Kharge at Shakti Bhavan here. The combined capacity of all three parks will be 1,000 MW, and these will be established at the earliest, stated the Ministers.
