Gannavaram Airport has announced the cancellation of more than 30 flights on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) in view of cyclone Montha. Gannavaram Airport director M. Lakshmi Kantha Reddy said that many arrival and departure flights have been cancelled on Tuesday, as heavy rains are expected due to the cyclone. Flights of various companies towards Bengaluru, Kadapa, Sharjah, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and other cities from Vijayawada have been cancelled, Mr. Lakshmi Kantha Reddy said.
