Buoyed by the successful conduct of the Salakatla Brahmotsavams at Tirumala recently, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is confident of conducting the forthcoming events, such as Tiruchanur Brahmotsavams, Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Ratha Sapthami in a hassle-free manner.

The TTD authorities, led by Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and Joint EO V. Veerabrahmam, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer K.V. Muralikrishna, held a review meeting, along with Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu, at Mahati auditorium on Friday, where they discussed the peaceful and incident-free manner in which the nine-day event concluded at Tirumala.

“There was an exceptionally positive atmosphere at Tirumala during the festival. Devotees in the galleries and queue lines expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made,” Mr. Singhal said.

He attributed the success of the event to the suggestions given by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu when the TTD delegation invited him for the Brahmotsavams.

Mr. Singhal made a mention of the efforts made by the TTD team led by Chairman B.R. Naidu and the Trust Board members, in coordination with the district administration, police, Srivari Sevaks (volunteers). The devotees also cooperated immensely.

Mr. Chowdary pointed to the guidelines prepared three months in advance that worked in favour of coordination. Mr. Veerabrahmam hailed the teamwork among the officials.

On the security front, Mr. Subbarayudu and Mr. Muralikrishna appreciated the use of technology, such as geo-tagging system for children and senior citizens, the dedicated social media team and cyber wing that not only helped prevent misinformation but also check crime on real-time basis.
