AICC in-charge for Telangana Meenakshi Natarajan urged the party cadre to actively participate in the Vote Chori signature collection campaign and complete it by October 15. She emphasized that the programme should be carried out in every village, and DCC presidents, MLAs and Congress leaders should take special action to ensure its success.

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) held an online meeting on Saturday to discuss the AICC’s programme to collect signatures against alleged vote theft. Speaking at the meeting, TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said that due to heavy rains in some areas, there was a slight delay in the signature campaign. “Since the AICC has taken the program seriously, party leaders must ensure the collection of signatures from at least 100 people in each village and complete the task by October 15,” he added.

During the meeting, Mr. Goud highlighted the issue of vote theft in the country, alleging that the BJP had come to power for the third time through such means. He also criticized the Election Commission for acting as an affiliate of the BJP, stating that despite providing evidence of vote theft, there has been no response from the Commission.
