Visakhapatnam District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore on Friday called on teachers and parents to nurture students from the district into globally recognised achievers, and responsible citizens.
Participating in the Mega Parents-Teachers Meeting 4.0 at the Zilla Parishad High School in Adavivaram, the Collector interacted with students, parents and teachers, and inspected the project exhibits prepared by students, including a drone model.
He directed officials to arrange a live demonstration of an actual drone for the students.
Mr. Kishore reviewed holistic progress cards, interacted with Class X students on teaching methods and learning resources, and commended the school for securing an 88% pass percentage. He also noted the increase in student enrolment from 453 last year to 490 this year.
The Collector later distributed study material, certificates and mementoes to meritorious students and shared a community lunch with them. He also assured support for installing CCTV cameras at the school.
