Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is set to virtually inaugurate two mega food parks on October 13, one each in Villupuram and Theni districts. While the one in Tindivanam, spread over 157 acre, is being set up at ₹120 crore, the one at Theni is spread over 123 acre and is being established at ₹70 crore.
On the same day, the CM will virtually inaugurate 16 creches established in industrial parks by the SIPCOT. Mr. Stalin is also scheduled to inaugurate ‘Aran Illams’ — homes for transpersons established in Shenoy Nagar in Chennai and in Anna Nagar in Madurai at ₹43 lakh.
During the event scheduled in the Secretariat, he will virtually inaugurate four tourism infrastructure projects in Jawadhu hills in Tiruvannamalai district, Ponnaniyar dam in Karur district and Kollimalai in Namakkal district and buildings for government law colleges in Madurai and Vellore. Besides, he will unveil foundation for projects in four temples under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department and inaugurate 13 completed projects in seven temples.
