CM Stalin inaugurates new projects worth ₹1,773.67 crore

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday inaugurated infrastructure projects and laid foundation stone for new schemes amounting to ₹1,773.67 crore in Kallakurichi district.

He inaugurated a total of 2,525 completed projects and laid the foundation stone for 62 new ones worth ₹386.48 crore.

The notable projects among those completed include the Integrated Collectorate complex in Kallakurichi. He also distributed welfare assistance to the tune of ₹1,045 crore to 2.16 lakh beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister also announced the creation of a new block with Vanapuram as its Headquarters and construction of new buildings for the Government Arts and Science College at Ulundurpet at ₹18 crore.

He also announced the creation of a new SIPCOT industrial estate at an estimated cost of ₹10 crore in Ulundurpet and construction of Combined Court Buildings and quarters in Kallakurichi costing ₹120 crore.

Ministers E.V. Velu, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, C.V. Ganesan and Collector M.S. Prasanth were present.
