Arrangements are being made at a brisk pace for the visit of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Kottaburuju village in Dhone mandal of the district on Monday (March 09) to distribute pattadar passbooks to farmers.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to distribute the new pattadar passbooks to the farmers and also interact with farmers while visiting the farms in the village. District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya, Superintendent of Police Suneel Sheoran and Dhone MLA Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy are supervising the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit. Mr. Suneel Sheoran said 900 police officers and personnel would be deployed for bandobust and tight security arrangements have been made at all the places where the Chief Minister would be visiting. Special Branch police have taken up extensive searches in Kottaburuju village and nearby areas and sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads have also been conducting checks in the village.
Mr. Suneel Sheoran said security would be monitored with the help of CCTVs and drone cameras. He said police personnel have been deployed at important places to regulate traffic flow and to avoid traffic jams as a large number of people, people’s representatives and officials are expected to participate in the programme.
The district police chief asked the policemen to ensure no untoward incident takes place during the Chief Minister’s visit and not to leave from their allotted place of duty. He asked the police personnel to report any untoward incident, if any, to their higher-ups immediately.
Meanwhile, Collector Rajakumari Ganiya had inspected the helipad and other places where Mr. Chandrababu Naidu would be visiting and instructed officials to complete the arrangements in time. She wanted officials to make arrangements for drinking water, medical services, electricity and sanitation and also supervisied the Advance Security Liasion for the CM’s visit.
