Chief Justice of India to visit Tirupati on February 28

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant is scheduled to arrive in Tirupati on a two-day visit, beginning February 28.

He will lay the foundation stone for the district court complex at Daminedu on the outskirts of Tirupati on March 1.

Ahead of the scheduled visit, a team of officials led by District Collector S. Venkateswar, Joint Collector R. Govinda Rao, trainee Collector Sandeep Raghuvanshi, Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu, Tirupati Airport Director Bhuminathan and others inspected the site being readied for the ‘Bhumi Puja’.

At a meeting held earlier with Third Additional District & Sessions Judge M. Gurunath and other officials, Mr. Venkateswar reviewed the arrangements being made at the venue.
