Hyderabad

Intending to work together for planetary sustainability and environmental protection, the Council for Green Revolution (CGR) and the American Telugu Association (ATA) held joint consultations on Saturday.

Representatives of both organisations met at ‘The Earth Centre’ in Anmas Palli village, under Kadtal mandal of Ranga Reddy district, where they held preliminary discussions on jointly undertaking environmental initiatives in both the United States and India.

The meeting was organised under the leadership of CGR founders Korpolu Lakshma Reddy and CGR president Leela Lakshma Reddy. Former RTI Commissioner Dilip Reddy presided over the meeting and briefed the ATA representatives on the various eco-friendly initiatives being implemented by CGR over the last 15 years.

The discussions focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in areas related to environmental conservation, sustainability and green development, with an emphasis on long-term impact and community participation.

ATA president Jayant Challa, Ramasahayam Satish Reddy, Paramesh Bhimireddy, Srikanth Gudipati, Sridhar Banala, Narsi Reddy, Kashi Kotha, Kishore Guduri, Raj Kakkerla and Venu Komatireddy, participated.
