A Union government Schemes’ Fair will be held in Mysuru on Tuesday, offering residents direct access to information and assistance on a range of welfare programmes of the Government of India.

The fair, organised by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, will be held in the CADA Building at 9.30 a.m. Officials from various Union government departments will be present to explain the benefits of different schemes and guide eligible beneficiaries on the procedures to avail the benefits.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Yaduveer said the objective was to ensure that welfare schemes launched by the Union government reach every eligible citizen.

He said that similar outreach programmes would be organised every quarter to improve awareness of the government initiatives. He expressed confidence that the initiative would grow into a larger platform in the coming years.

The MP said several key welfare programmes introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi were designed to benefit people across all sections of society.
