A case of medical negligence has been registered after a dialysis patient suffered a cardiac arrest following treatment at Medicover Hospital in Narsingi.

According to the police, a complaint was lodged on February 26 by Gunti Krishna, who alleged lapses during his brother G. Sagar’s dialysis session earlier that morning. The two had visited the hospital at around 5 a.m. for a scheduled procedure when the Permacath, also known as a femoral dialysis catheter, is said to have become loose.
