Alia Bhatt’s Day 2 Cannes look is already creating waves online. For the inauguration of the Bharat Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, the actor chose a custom draped ivory chanderi dhoti skirt and a soft sculpted corset by Tarun Tahiliani, which she accessorised with a bindi, nose pin and haath phool. Her look was styled by Rhea Kapoor and Sanya Kapoor. While walking towards the venue, the actress was seen carrying an umbrella, customised as per the outfit. She was seen posing with filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker in some of the photos. Take a look:

Alia Bhatt’s Cannes 2026 Day 1 looks
For her Day 1 look, Alia Bhatt wore a hand-painted flowy gown. She oozed princess vibes in thin straps, a structured corset-style bodice, and a voluminous skirt that she held out on both sides, adding a dramatic feel to the shot. She kept her styling minimal and sophisticated with soft glam makeup, nude lips, and neatly tied-back hair with a side-parted detailing. She posed for several photos.
For her red carpet appearance, the actress brought back dupatta into fashion. She wore a peachy-pink off-the-shoulder gown with a bold neckline and posed for the cameras with the who’s who from Hollywood. Both her looks were styled by Rhea Kapoor. Alia also met Spanish car racer Carlos Sainz at the event. A video of their meeting is going viral.
Which celebs will grace the Cannes 2026 red carpet?
Like every year, Cannes Film Festival 2026 is set to welcome several Bollywood stars and influencers to its iconic red carpet. Alia Bhatt became the first celebrity to make an appearance at the festival this year. Cannes regular Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is also expected to walk the red carpet in the coming days. Along with them, Aditi Rao Hydari and Tara Sutaria will also represent India at Cannes 2026.
Punjabi singer-actor Ammy Virk is set to make his Cannes debut this year. Actor and influencer Ahsaas Channa, along with several digital creators, is also expected to attend the festival.
Cannes 2026 began on May 12 and will continue till May 23.
