Bookworm, one of the beloved bookstores of bibliophiles in Bengaluru, is slowly picking up the pieces and limping back to normalcy after the April 29 torrential rains flooded the bookstore damaging nearly 5,000 books.

The books that were drenched in water are now being dried out in the sun. While some are partially damaged, many books have been damaged extensively. A big collection of author signed books and coffee table books are also damaged. The extent of loss runs into several lakhs.
