BLDE Society health camp today

Vijayapura-based BLDE Society will organise health check-up and treatment camps in several parts of the district on Tuesday, on the occasion of the birthday of society president and Minister M.B. Patil.

Doctors from the Shri B.M. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre of BLDE Deemed University will screen patients at the camps in Tikota, Babaleshwar, Devara Gennur and Ukkali villages.

The camps are organized at the Primary Health Centre in Tikota, the premises of Shri Shantaveera High School on Kakhandaki Road in Babaleshwar, Nammur Government Kannada Higher Primary School in Devara Gennur and the New English High School in Ukkali.

Doctors from the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Bone and Joint Treatment, Ear, Nose and Throat, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology and Neurology will conduct examinations.

Diagnosis tests like CBC, urine routine, RBS, chest X-ray and creatinine services will be conducted free. Special check-ups and treatments will be done at discounted rates. Patients should bring their BPL, Antyodaya, Yashaswini and Aadhaar cards when coming for further treatment. They will also have to bear the cost of medicines prescribed.
