Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Nabin stated on Monday (April 27, 2026) that the party was set to win the Assembly elections in West Bengal owing to the “hard work, struggle and sacrifices” of party workers. “BJP’s lotus will bloom in West Bengal, and the saffron flag will fly high,” Mr. Nabin said.

Mr. Nabin was on his first visit to Rajasthan after his appointment as the BJP chief. He attended party programmes in Jaipur and inaugurated a party office in Tonk. He also virtually inaugurated district offices in six other cities and virtually laid the foundation stone for an office in Jalore.
