Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav in his first reaction on exit poll after the final phase of polling ended asserted that when the people were standing in queue to cast vote, the exit poll came.

“This kind of survey has been conducted under pressure. This is the same ‘Godi Media’ which had captured Islamabad and Karachi. This is the same media which ran the news that bollywood actor Dharmendra ji passed away and the BJP leader like Yogi Adityanath issued the condolence message as well,” Mr. Yadav said while addressing the press conference at his official residence in Patna on Wednesday (November 12, 2025).

He said that media showing exit polls are not able to talk about the sample size of the survey. “Mr. Yadav alleged that whatever PMO and Amit Shah decide,” the media showed.

“Comparing to the 2020 Assembly election, 72 lakh more people have given the vote and divided by 243 assembly constituencies, it would be more than 29,000 per Assembly constituency. This huge vote is for change, the government is going to change, the 72 lakh vote is not to save Nitish Kumar but to change his government,” Mr. Yadav said.

The INDIA bloc Chief Minister face, Mr. Yadav added that earlier the media in exit polls showed defeat in Jharkhand and West Bengal as well but results were totally opposite.

“Not only this, the agencies during the 2024 Lok Sabha election were crossing 400 seats,” Mr. Yadav said.

He also alleged that attempts would be made to slow down the counting and fear would be created by holding flag marches from the military in every districts.

In highest turnout since 1951, Bihar registers 67% polling

“Let them do anything, this time there will be a clean sweep for Mahagathbandhan, we are going to get a massive victory. Our people are not afraid of anyone and there cannot be any cheating in the counting either. Our people are vigilant and keeping a close eye on the counting centres,” Mr. Yadav said.
