Several neighbourhoods in the city will face a power outage on Tuesday (November 25) as the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will undertake emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 kV Mahalakshmi Layout substation. Electricity supply will be interrupted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The outage will affect large parts of west Bengaluru, including Manjunath Nagar, Thimmiah Road, Bhovi Colony, Mahaganapati Nagar, Pushpanjali Apartment, Shivanahalli Park, Adarsh Nagar, Adarsh Layout, Unix Colony, Indira Nagar, H.V.K. Layout, Karnataka Layout, Kamala Nagar, V.J.S.S. Layout, Nagapura, Mahalakshmi Puram, J.C. Nagar, Rajajinagar 2nd Block, MICO Layout, and surrounding areas. Other locations to be impacted are Modi Hospital Road, Pipeline Road, Kurabaralli, Bovi Palya, Gelayara Balaga, Gruhalakshmi Layout 2nd Stage, West Chord Road, G.D. Naidu Hall, BNES College, BEL Apartment, Sandal Soap Factory, Yeshwanthpur Industrial Area, Toyota showroom, Esteem Classic Apartment, Lumos Apartment, and nearby localities.
