Bharat Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) party president Bode Ramachandra Yadav formally called on the family members of Tirumalasetti Lakshmi Naidu at his Darakanipadu residence in Gudluru mandal on Saturday (October 18, 2025).

It may be recalled that Mr. Naidu was killed recently after being hit by a vehicle, allegedly at the behest of a local TDP leader near Rallapadu. The accused has since been arrested by the Nellore district police, but the incident left the political landscape of the district in distress.

The BCY leader demanded ₹1 crore as financial assistance to the family of the deceased and also sought a government job for a member of the family. In the same vein, he accused the government of letting down the Backward Classes (BC) community, which he said played a key role in voting the alliance to power.

Mr. Yadav also accused the Nellore police for allegedly remaining mum on Mr. Naidu’s request for security, ten days prior to the incident that caused his death. He also accused the police of trying to distort the facts and change the narrative to conceal their failure.
