B.Y. Raghavendra, Shivamogga MP, has invited former Minister K.S. Eshwarappa to the BSY Abhimanotsava to be held in Chitradurga on Saturday.

Mr. Raghavendra, on his social media account, stated that he met Eshwarappa and offered him an invitation to the programme.

Mr. Yediyurappa and Mr. Eshwarappa have been companions in the BJP for decades. Both of them worked as presidents of the party’s State unit and were colleagues in the Cabinet whenever the party came to power.

Mr. Eshwarappa was expelled from the BJP in 2024, as he contested as an independent candidate for the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency against the party’s official candidate, B.Y. Raghavendra.
