Residents of Ayanur village in Shivamogga taluk have strongly opposed the decision of the government of Karnataka to shut down the Community Health Centre (CHC) in their village.

They have resolved to launch a series of protests starting April 22, demanding that the government immediately withdraw the decision and allow the facility to continue functioning.
