Expanding its community healthcare outreach, Aster Volunteers, the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare, on Friday launched five new mobile medical units (MMUs) in Bengaluru. With this, the global fleet rose to 76 units, including 54 in India.

The mobile units will provide free primary consultations, screening for non-communicable diseases, maternal and child healthcare services, health education, and referrals for advanced treatment. Equipped with medical-grade facilities, the units are designed to deliver safe and efficient care at the community level, stated a press release..
