Vizianagaram district administration is busy making arrangements on a war-footing for annual Sirimanotsav to be celebrated on October 7, 2025. Around 3 lakh devotees are expected to participate in the festival of the presiding deity of Pydimamba.

Vizianagaram Collector S.Ramsundar Reddy and other senior officials have been reviewing the arrangements on daily basis to ensure hassle free darshan and participation of the devotees on all spiritual and cultural activities. Tholellu festival will be celebrated on October 6, preceding day of Sirimanotsav.

With the directive from the Collector, Vizianagaram Municipal Corporation took up several beautification measures to enhance the image of the Fort City. The Corporation has allocated nearly ₹50 lakh for the beautification and developmental activities in the city. VMC Commissioner P. Nallanayya told that all the departments of the civic body were working with tandem to meet the expectations of the government. A mega craft exhibition ‘SARAS’ is being planned near Balaji junction.

Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas is expected to hold a couple of review meetings after the Assembly session over the annual festival.
