BSF personnel keep vigil along LoC, in J&K’s Kupwara. File

The Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials in Srinagar said on Tuesday (October 14, 2025).
The troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC in Kupwara late on Monday (October 13, 2025) night and challenged the intruders. There was a brief exchange of fire between the two sides, the officials said.
Searches are underway in the area.
