The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) has set up a help desk at its regional office here to assist industrialists in filing applications for pollution-related permits.

Project proponents seeking permits from the APPCB are required to submit applications through the Andhra Pradesh Online Comprehensive Monitoring and Management System (APOCMMS) portal. Many industries rely on external consultants to file the applications, and delays were occurring in the review process due to incomplete submissions and missing documents, the Board said.
