Anna University appoints Registrar in-charge

V. Kumaresan, Director, Centre for Academic Courses, Anna University, has been appointed as the Registrar in-charge of the University on Wednesday. Prof. Kumaresan belongs to the Division of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University which he joined in 2009. This change was necessitated after the University Syndicate, last week, approved the stepping down of a few officials, including the Registrar, during the course of a DVAC inquiry on the alleged ‘ghost faculty’ scam.
