Anganwadi workers to participate in dharna at Jantar Mantar on April 21

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association (affiliated to AITUC) will participate in a national-level dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on April 21, demanding the government redress their demands. Association State general secretary, J. Lalitha on Sunday said: “The anganwadi workers are demanding regularisation of services, implementation of gratuity, payment of minimum wages, provision of pension, scrapping of Face Recognition System (FRS), along with other demands.”
