Andhra University marked its 100th Foundation Day on Sunday and is set to hold the centenary valedictory on Monday at the AU College of Engineering grounds, with elaborate arrangements in place for a large public gathering. The campus has been illuminated with colourful lighting ahead of the celebrations.
Addressing the media at the AU Platinum Jubilee Guest House on Sunday, Vice-Chancellor G. P. Raja Sekhar said the celebrations held over the past few months had culminated in the milestone. “Building on that momentum, we have marked the 100th Foundation Day of the university today,” he said.
