Andhra Pradesh: Two persons killed in road accident on Gammon bridge in Rajamahendravaram

Two persons died on the spot after a two-wheeler, in which the duo was travelling, was hit by a lorry from behind on the Gammon bridge across river Godavari in the early hours of Wednesday (February 3, 2026).

The incident occurred when the duo was on their way to Rajamahendravaram city. The apparent reason for the road accident is believed to be fog.

According to Kovvur police, the deceased have been identified as Koti (36) and 40-year-old T. Chinna Subba Rao.

The bodies have been shifted to government hospital in Rajamahendravaram city for post-mortem. The Kovvur police registered a case and the investigation is on.
