Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday unveiled the invitation card for the upcoming Dasara celebrations at the historic Sri Kanaka Durga Temple, scheduled to be held from September 22 to October 2.

On the occasion, Endowments Commissioner K. Ramachandra Mohan, Temple Executive Officer V.K. Seenanayak, Vedic scholars, and temple priests formally invited the Chief Minister to the festivities. Mr. Naidu received Veda Ashirvachanam and temple prasadam before releasing the invitation card. He was also briefed on the ongoing development works at the temple. The Chief Minister was specially invited to participate in the Moola Nakshatram day rituals, when the State government traditionally offers pattu vastrams (silk robes) to Goddess Kanaka Durga.

In a related development, the Endowments Commissioner inspected the progress of arrangements at Indrakeeladri on September 8 and directed officials to complete all works by September 15. He reviewed key projects, including the Elevated Queue Complex, a new BT road, prasadam counters, and a two-storey annadanam building with a buffet system. Speaking to the media, Mr. Ramachandra Mohan said the annual Sharannavaratri Utsavams draw over 10 lakh devotees from across the country, underscoring its national importance. He emphasised that devotee-friendly facilities remain the top priority and that modern technology will be leveraged to improve services.
