Airbus Corporate Helicopters has signed an order for two ACH160 helicopters and one H175 with a private Indian customer, with the announcement made during Wings India 2026 in Hyderabad on Saturday, January 31. The operator is an existing ACH160 customer and will also become India’s first H175 customer, Airbus said in a release.

The order marks the introduction of the super-medium twin-engine H175 helicopter into India’s civil aviation market. The aircraft will be delivered in a 16-seat configuration in 2026. The two ACH160 helicopters, which will be configured exclusively as per the customer’s requirements, are scheduled for delivery in 2027.

“This repeat order for the two ACH160s and the first-ever H175 by an Indian customer reflects the maturity that the civil helicopter market is gaining in the country. Both helicopters  are ideally suited to support passenger transport and offer superior performance and great comfort,ˮ said Sunny Guglani, Head of Airbus Helicopters in India and South Asia.
