The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), on Friday, condemned the remarks made by BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy allegedly against Karimnagar Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam, and called them objectionable and deeply offensive.
In a statement posed on ‘X’, MIM said that the remarks “targeted the police officer’s religious identity and amounted to open communal slur” by a sitting legislator. “It is wholly unacceptable to communalise or politicise the lawful discharge of duties by public servants,” it said, and demanded strict action against the MLA.
