AIADMK general council, executive committee to meet on December 10

The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (AIADMK) general council and executive committee meetings will be held at Vanagaram near Chennai on December 10, 2025 (Wednesday).

AIADMK presidium chairman A. Tamilmagan Hussain will chair the meeting, the party’s general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami said in a statement.

The meeting assumes significance in the backdrop of key developments in the recent past including the expulsion of senior leader and Gobichettipalayam MLA K.A. Sengottiayan from the party.

Strategies for the 2026 Assembly polls, including the electoral alliance, ways to strengthen the party are among the issues over which discussions are expected in the meeting.
