Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University has restricted Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women (mLAC) (Autonomous) from admitting students for the academic year 2026-27 due to non-renewal of its land lease.

The college’s land lease agreement of mLAC expired in 2008 and had not been renewed for the past 23 years.
