HYDERABAD

Telangana United Christians and Pastors’ Association (TUCPA) has lodged a complaint against Bairi Naresh, president of Bharata Nasthika Samajan, for allegedly making offensive comments on Jesus Christ.

In a complaint submitted to the Cyber Crimes wing of Hyderabad police, Goneh Solomon Raj of TUCPA alleged that Mr. Naresh has made derogatory remarks against Christ and used insulting words, which had hurt the sentiments of lakhs of Christians in the two Telugu speaking States.

He urged the police to crack down on social media platforms that are ‘promoting’ discord among communities, following such remarks.
