Leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee (A.P. JAC) Amaravati met Finance Minister P. Keshav on Wednesday to address the pending Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) payments for State government employees and pensioners.

The delegation, led by A.P. JAC Chairman Bopparaju Venkateshwarlu, submitted a formal representation at the Secretariat, urging immediate resolution of technical and administrative hurdles that have delayed payments.

They highlighted that many bills for 2018 and 2019 were either not submitted on time, rejected at DDO or treasury levels, or could not be resubmitted through the CFMS portal. The delegation also pointed out inconsistencies, such as arrears being credited to some employees but not others, non-receipt of DR payments for retirees after the July 1, 2018, cut-off, pension ID issues for deceased pensioners, data mismatches due to STO or district reorganisations, bank account changes after mergers, and missing Aadhaar-bank linkages.

A.P. JAC demanded a “special enable option” on the CFMS portal to allow resubmission of pending and rejected bills to ensure all eligible employees and pensioners receive their dues.

The Finance Minister responded positively and assured that the government would immediately consult relevant authorities, resolve technical issues, and ensure justice for affected employees and pensioners.
