The government gave its nod for the transfer of 480 acres of land in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts to Adani Infra (India) Private Limited, a primary Notified Partner of Raiden Infotech India Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Google acting as a special purpose vehicle for its infrastructure and data center investments in India) for the establishment of AI data centres with a total capacity of around 1,000 MW with a proposed investment of ₹87,520 crore.

As per G.O Ms. No. 66 issued by Secretary (ITE&C) Bhaskar Katamneni on December 2, the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited earmarked 120 acres in Adavivaram and Mudasarlova villages and 200 acres at Tarluvada in Visakhapatnam district and 160 acres at Rambilli in Anakapalli district to Adani Infra.

Apart from Adani Infra, Adani ConneX India Private Limited, Adani Power India Private Limited, Bharti Airtel Limited, Nxtra Data Limited, and Nxtra Vizag Limited are the notified partners of Raiden Infotech India Pvt. Ltd, some of which will get the above land parcels for the stated purpose.

It has been mentioned that Raiden and its affiliates, including Google and Google Cloud, are deeply committed to the data centres project, and the company affirmed that all constructions will adhere to global data center standards aligned with Google’s infrastructure quality, the project will comply with all commitments in the DPR dated August 22, 2025 and the project will be built to the same exacting standards that power Google services like Search, YouTube and Workspace.

The APIIC and AP Technology Services Limited have been instructed to take necessary action pursuant to the land allotment (the Rambilli site will be transferred to Nxtra Data and Tarluvada and Adavivaram–Mudasarlova sites to AdaniConneX).
