A delegation of A.P. Chambers of Commerce & Industry (AP Chambers), led by its president Potluri Bhaskara Rao along with office bearers B. Rajasekhar, Ravuri Subba Rao and Akkaiah Naidu, met president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) D. Prasanna Kumar, during the latter’ visit here on Sunday (February 22).

They submitted a representation proposing structured collaboration between ICAI and A.P. Chambers for strengthening the MSME ecosystem in the State, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns.

The key areas of the collaboration sought by the A.P. Chambers include support for the Corporate Mitra framework, establishment of a Joint MSME Financial and Compliance Support Desk, assistance in the preparation of bankable DPRs and financial structuring, capacity-building programs on financial discipline, digital accounting and cost management and advisory support for revival and restructuring of stressed MSMEs.

Mr. Prasanna Kumar appreciated the proactive initiatives of A.P. Chambers and assured full support.

He agreed to constitute a joint task force comprising representatives from ICAI and A.P. Chambers to work on measures aimed at giving a fillip to MSMEs in the State.
