Minister for Public Works S. Harbhajan Singh and Minister for Water Resources Barinder Kumar Goyal from the Government of Punjab called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at the Secretariat in Chennai on Friday (October 17, 2025).

The two ministers extended an invitation to Mr. Stalin to take part in the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Guru of Sikhism, to be held at Anandpur Sahib in Punjab in November. They also witnessed the Assembly proceedings from the gallery. Speaker M. Appavu read out a message welcoming them.

Earlier, Mr. Stalin, in a social media post, extended birthday greetings to his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann.
