The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) on Thursday entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Global Training and Education Centre (GTEC) at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WWL), England, at the RGUHS campus.

The MoU is aimed at building a global platform for healthcare education, training, research, and workforce development. The initiative was initially conceptualised during the RGUHS Study Tour to England.

Under this, RGUHS and GTEC will undertake initiatives focused on creating structured pathways for Indian doctors and healthcare professionals, exchange and fellowship programmes, research and capacity building, technology-enabled learning, and continuous professional development.
