Najeeb Kanthapuram, MLA, inaugurates an inter-Samastha sport meet organised by the Association of Samastha Minority Institutions at MEA Engineering College ground at Pattikkad, near Perinthalmanna.

The Association of Samastha Minority Institutions (ASMI) held an inter-Samastha sports meet over the weekend. Najeeb Kanthapuram, MLA, inaugurated the meet at the MEA Engineering College ground at Pattikkad.

ASMI convener P.K. Mohammed Haji presided over the function. Abdul Majeed Pravanna welcomed the gathering. P.P. Mohammed Kakkovila proposed a vote of thanks.

MIC English Medium School, Kondopparamba, became the overall champion in the junior category. Manba’ul Uloom English Medium School, Kalambara, was the runner-up. In the senior category, Truth Way School, Valiyakunnu, became the overall champion. Crescent English Medium School, Thazhekode, was the runner-up.

Muhammed Ajlaan K.P. from MIC English Medium School, Kondipparamba, was adjudged the best junior athlete when Azaan Muhammed K. from Crescent English Medium School, Thazhekode, bagged the best senior athlete award.
