A joint enforcement drive by Miyapur traffic police and Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs) from Kondapur led to the seizure of 44 autorickshaws at Allwyn X road on Monday for various violations related to permits and fitness certifications.

The operation, conducted under the supervision of the Station House Officer, Traffic, Miyapur, in coordination with MVI Kondapur and AMVI team, focused on checking the validity of autorickshaw permits, fitness certificates, and out-of-district registrations.

Officials said the special drive was aimed at ensuring compliance with transport regulations and improving passenger safety. Vehicles found operating without valid documents or violating prescribed norms were seized, and further action is being initiated as per law.
