The Kochi City police have arrested two youths, including a doctor, with suspected MDMA in separate incidents.
Haris Nizar, 33, of Pattathanam in Kollam was arrested during searches conducted by the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) near Cochin University of Science and Technmology, Kalamassery. As much as 19.79 grams of suspected MDMA was seized from him, the police said.
In another incident, DANSAF arrested a doctor, identified as Amjad Ahasan, 30, of Vadakkekkara in North Paravur. The police seized 0.83 grams of suspected MDMA from him in a raid conducted on Lissie Hospital-Pulleppady Road.
