The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in 14 Telangana districts for Monday (October 13).

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in 14 Telangana districts for Monday (October 13).

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31°C and 18°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
